The service

Rumsage is a mobile app that tracks calories and macros, keeps a food inventory from photos you take, and generates recipe suggestions with AI. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

Not medical advice

Calorie targets, nutrition figures and recipes are informational estimates produced in part by AI. They are not medical, dietetic or health advice. Always verify ingredients yourself, especially allergies, and consult a professional for medical conditions, eating disorders or clinical diets. You remain responsible for what you cook and eat.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to use Rumsage. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings, under Danger zone (see the privacy policy).

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt or overload the API, reverse-engineer the app, scrape the service, or submit content designed to make the AI produce harmful output. We may suspend accounts that do.

AI-generated content

Content labeled AI-generated is produced by an automated model and can be wrong. It is provided as-is, for your personal use. You are free to cook, adapt and share the recipes.

Free tier and subscriptions

The core app is free with a weekly allowance of AI features. An optional Pro subscription removes those limits; the price and terms are shown in the app before any payment, which is processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings; refunds are handled by Apple under their rules.

Liability

Rumsage is provided "as is", during an early-access period, without warranty of uninterrupted service or error-free results. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under French law.

Changes and termination

These terms may evolve with the service; significant changes are announced in the app before they apply. You can stop using Rumsage at any time. We may discontinue the service or your access for breach of these terms, with your right to your data covered by the privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers keep the protections of their country of residence within the EU.
